I’ve been out of
the game for a while…the big, bad, blogging game.
Yeah, working. It’s
a tough life, but I listen to a lot of happy songs, so that gets me through.
Looks like I’m
crawling back to the ol’ blog, but this time I’m going to freshen things up for
Adverhetoric’s millions of readers. As Facebook’s IPO was a bit of a flop, they
have decided against buying my blog for my asking price, $6 billion, so now it
looks like I’m going to have to write about a wider, more interesting range of
topics to get their attention again. However, this blog will essentially still be
about advertising, because if there is one thing I’ve learned in the past few
months, it’s that advertising is always evolving and stretching beyond the
scope of what it was the day before. Anything that is written here will
probably be relevant to advertising, because I want that insight I just
mentioned to hold up.
To celebrate this
extravagant and ridiculous change of atmosphere, let’s celebrate with a picture
